We are GEO. We are a community of volunteers who see that our skills, training, and experience can benefit others. GEO serves expatriates around the world who work with marginalized, hurting, impoverished, and displaced peoples. As they build relationships and identify ways to help others, the expats frequently need information, advice, or logistical help themselves.

GEO works to make the connections.

The skills needed are as varied as the peoples served:

  • handicrafts
  • construction
  • mechanical repair
  • ‘MacGyver solutions’
  • legal
  • medical & veterinary
  • agriculture, aquaculture, horticulture
  • small business
  • technology
  • logistics
  • engineering
  • music and fine arts
  • many, many others

Services are normally delivered by email, telephone, or online conferences and collaborations. Occasionally, trips to the field may be helpful.

Consider becoming a GEO volunteer or supporting our work financially. What you know is a valuable resource!
